Lenovo ThinkPad YOGA 11e Gen 5 touch screen assembly

A complete touch screen assembly compatible with the Lenovo THINKPAD YOGA 11e Gen 5. The LCD screen and the touch glass digitizer are supplied as one sealed unit unit, in the 11.6" size class with a native resolution of WXGA (1366 x 768). Frame, bezel, circuit board may be included if pictured or described.

Why replace the whole assembly?

On touch laptops the touch glass is usually stuck to the LCD by the manufacturer. Removing cracked glass off an unbroken LCD is slow, risky work may damage the LCD panel - which is why repairers fit the assembly instead. One part and both the picture and the touch layer are new.

Manufacturers sell the same model with touch and non-touch versions, in different resolutions, refresh rates and often in more than one bezel style, so please compare this assembly with your laptop:

• Specifications: confirm your machine is the touch version, then compare the resolution (this assembly: WXGA (1366 x 768)), refresh rate and connectors (30pin (eDP) + Touch Connector) with your original before ordering.
• Variations: where the listing offers options such as with or without frame, or different bezel colours, choose the variation that suits your lid; the frame is not interchangeable between revisions.
• Images: compare the photos with your machine's bezel shape, hinge covers and camera cut-out; these details change between revisions of the same series.

Fitting

An assembly swap is usually easier disasemmbling individual parts: remove the damaged assembly, transfer the cables, and mount the new unit. Take care with the display and touch connectors, keep screws sorted by length, and support the assembly by its edges while you work. If the frame is included, the whole front of the lid comes across in one piece.
