One of ASUS's first Republic of Gamers laptops, the G51 series was a 15.6-inch gaming machine sold from 2009, with variants such as the G51J and G51Vx pairing Intel Core processors with dedicated NVIDIA graphics. Panel choice on this range matters: both 1366x768 and 1920x1080 screens were fitted, and the G51Jx 3D ran a 120Hz 3D Vision panel that does not interchange with the standard displays, so the existing screen should be identified before ordering.
