HP 14-CM SERIES parts

A replacement keyboard compatible with the HP PAVILION 14-CM SERIES. Depending on how the manufacturer builds this machine, it is supplied either as the bare keyboard or as the complete top case (palmrest) with the keyboard pre-fitted — the listing title states which, and this one is listed as Black. Before you order Specifications — compare the layout (the shape of the Enter key and the bottom row are the quickest tell), backlighting and colour with your existing keyboard. Backlit and non-backlit keyboards are different parts with different cables. Variations — where the listing offers options such as backlit or non-backlit, or different colours, choose the variation that suits your machine rather than assuming they interchange. Images — check the photos against your keyboard's key shapes, the cable position underneath and, for a full top case, the port cut-outs along the sides. Not sure which one you have? — send us a photo of your keyboard and the model label from the underside of your HP 14-CM SERIES, and we will confirm compatibility. Fitting A complete top-case keyboard is the easier repair: your machine's internals move across into the new palmrest, and every keycap and the flex cable are already in place. A bare keyboard swap varies by model — on some machines it releases with a few clips and screws, on others it sits beneath the motherboard. Check a teardown for your series before choosing the bare-keyboard route, or have a repairer fit it. Once the mechanism under a key is broken, the keyboard cannot be repaired one keycap at a time; replacing it is the lasting fix. Quality and packaging Keyboards are supplied new, inspected before dispatch and shipped in rigid protective packaging. Warranty, returns and delivery Warranty: 3 Months Delivery: shipped Australia-wide with tracking. Returns: if a part arrives faulty or turns out not to be compatible with your machine, contact us first and we will make it right under our returns policy.

A replacement internal part compatible with the HP PAVILION 14-CM SERIES. The title states what this part is — a webcam module, hinge set, sensor board, bracket or similar small assembly — and the photos show the unit supplied. Before you order Specifications — small parts are shaped for their series. Compare the model label on the underside of your machine with the models in the title, and check any details the title gives, such as connector type or a note like "no program" where a board needs software pairing. Variations — where the listing offers more than one option (left and right hinges, for example, or different revisions), choose the variation that corresponds to the part you are replacing. Images — compare the photos with your part: connector position, cable length and mounting holes are what decide whether it fits. Unsure? — the part number printed on your original is the most reliable reference. Send it to us, or a photo of the part, with your HP 14-CM SERIES and we will confirm compatibility. Fitting These parts are fiddly rather than difficult: small connectors, short cables and screws that like to wander. Disconnect the battery first, work over a tray, and never fold a ribbon cable sharply. Warranty, returns and delivery Warranty: 1 Month Delivery: shipped Australia-wide with tracking. Returns: if a part arrives faulty or turns out not to be compatible with your machine, contact us first and we will make it right under our returns policy.
