HP PAVILION 14-CR SERIES keyboard
A replacement keyboard compatible with the HP PAVILION 14-CR SERIES. Depending on how the manufacturer builds this machine, it is supplied either as the bare keyboard or as the complete top case (palmrest) with the keyboard pre-fitted — the listing title states which. Before you order Specifications — compare the layout (the shape of the Enter key and the bottom row are the quickest tell), backlighting and colour with your existing keyboard. Backlit and non-backlit keyboards are different parts with different cables. Check a teardown for your series before choosing the bare-keyboard route, or have a repairer fit it. Once the mechanism under a key is broken, the keyboard cannot be repaired one keycap at a time; replacing it is the lasting fix.
