If your machine has edge-to-edge glass glued over the LCD, you need a touch screen assembly instead. Specifications — compare the resolution, refresh rate and connector. The touch signal travels through the main screen cable, so the pin count and socket position must line up with your original. Variations and images — if the listing offers more than one option, pick the variation whose specifications suit your machine, and use the photos to check connector position and mounting points before you commit.
