Before you order The model number alone is not enough to be sure of a screen. Two minutes comparing this listing with your original panel saves a return: Specifications — compare the resolution, refresh rate, connector (pin count, and which side of the panel the socket sits), mounting style and surface finish with your existing screen. A sharper or faster panel is not a drop-in upgrade; the cable and connector usually differ. Variations — where this listing offers more than one option, choose the variation whose specifications line up with your original, not simply the cheapest. Images — the photos show the connector position and bracket layout of the panel supplied; check them against the back of your screen. Not sure? — send us the part number printed on the rear of your original panel together with your MSI GL63 9SEK-842 and we will confirm compatibility before you buy. Quality and packaging Panels are sourced from established LCD manufacturers, inspected before dispatch and shipped in rigid, foam-lined packaging designed for glass. Where a compatible-grade panel is supplied, it meets or exceeds the specification of the part it replaces; the panel maker can vary with stock. Fitting Screen replacement is one of the most common laptop repairs. With the machine powered off and the battery disconnected, the bezel unclips, the old panel unscrews and the cable swaps across to the new one. Work on a soft, static-free surface, hold the panel by its edges and never force the connector. If you would rather not open the lid yourself, any local repairer can fit a panel like this in well under an hour. Warranty, returns and delivery Delivery: shipped Australia-wide with tracking.
