MSI GP62 6QE-258FR parts

A mid-range gaming laptop from MSI's Leopard line, the GP62 6QE appeared around 2015-2016 with sixth-generation Intel Core processors and GTX 965M graphics. Every variant uses a 15.6-inch display, most commonly a 1920x1080 panel, though more than one panel type was fitted across the run, so the exact model number should be matched before ordering a screen. A full range of parts for the GP62 6QE is stocked here, including replacement screens, batteries, backlit keyboards, palmrests, lids, hinges, cooling fans and DC jacks, which covers most of what a gaming machine of this age tends to need. The model list below shows what suits each variant. Parts can be picked up from the Maidstone workshop in Melbourne, or the laptop can be left there for repair.

MSI GP62 6QE-258FR screen

A replacement laptop screen compatible with the MSI GP62 GP62 6QE-258FR, supplied as the bare LCD panel with no touch layer. Laptop makers fit several different panels to the same model, so please treat this as a compatible panel for the MSI GP62 6QE-258FR range and run through the checks below before ordering. Before you order The model number alone is not enough to be sure of a screen. Two minutes comparing this listing with your original panel saves a return: Specifications — compare the resolution, refresh rate, connector (pin count, and which side of the panel the socket sits), mounting style and surface finish with your existing screen. A sharper or faster panel is not a drop-in upgrade; the cable and connector usually differ. Variations — where this listing offers more than one option, choose the variation whose specifications line up with your original, not simply the cheapest. Images — the photos show the connector position and bracket layout of the panel supplied; check them against the back of your screen. Not sure? — send us the part number printed on the rear of your original panel together with your MSI GP62 6QE-258FR and we will confirm compatibility before you buy. Quality and packaging Panels are sourced from established LCD manufacturers, inspected before dispatch and shipped in rigid, foam-lined packaging designed for glass. Where a compatible-grade panel is supplied, it meets or exceeds the specification of the part it replaces; the panel maker can vary with stock. Fitting Screen replacement is one of the most common laptop repairs. With the machine powered off and the battery disconnected, the bezel unclips, the old panel unscrews and the cable swaps across to the new one. Work on a soft, static-free surface, hold the panel by its edges and never force the connector. If you would rather not open the lid yourself, any local repairer can fit a panel like this in well under an hour. Warranty, returns and delivery Delivery: shipped Australia-wide with tracking. Returns: if a part arrives faulty or turns out not to be compatible with your machine, contact us first and we will make it right under our returns policy.
