MSI GT62VR 7RE-249CA parts

MSI built the GT62VR 7RE, sold as the Dominator Pro, as a 15.6-inch gaming laptop for 2017, pairing seventh-generation Intel Core i7 processors with a GeForce GTX 1070. Panel options across the range are the thing to watch: most units left the factory with a 1920x1080 screen, some with G-Sync, while a smaller number carried a 3840x2160 4K panel, and these are not interchangeable, so matching the exact model in the list below matters before a screen is ordered. A full range of parts for the GT62VR 7RE is carried, including screens, batteries, backlit keyboards, cooling fans, palmrests, hinges and DC charging jacks, along with display cables and other internal hardware. The model table on this page shows what suits each variant. Parts can be collected from the Maidstone workshop in Melbourne, or the machine can be left there for fitting and repair.

MSI GT62VR 7RE-249CA screen

A replacement laptop screen compatible with the MSI GT62VR GT62VR 7RE-249CA, supplied as the bare LCD panel with no touch layer. Laptop makers fit several different panels to the same model, so please treat this as a compatible panel for the MSI GT62VR 7RE-249CA range and run through the checks below before ordering. Before you order The model number alone is not enough to be sure of a screen. Two minutes comparing this listing with your original panel saves a return: Specifications — compare the resolution, refresh rate, connector (pin count, and which side of the panel the socket sits), mounting style and surface finish with your existing screen. A sharper or faster panel is not a drop-in upgrade; the cable and connector usually differ. Variations — where this listing offers more than one option, choose the variation whose specifications line up with your original, not simply the cheapest. Images — the photos show the connector position and bracket layout of the panel supplied; check them against the back of your screen. Not sure? — send us the part number printed on the rear of your original panel together with your MSI GT62VR 7RE-249CA and we will confirm compatibility before you buy. Quality and packaging Panels are sourced from established LCD manufacturers, inspected before dispatch and shipped in rigid, foam-lined packaging designed for glass. Where a compatible-grade panel is supplied, it meets or exceeds the specification of the part it replaces; the panel maker can vary with stock. Fitting Screen replacement is one of the most common laptop repairs. With the machine powered off and the battery disconnected, the bezel unclips, the old panel unscrews and the cable swaps across to the new one. Work on a soft, static-free surface, hold the panel by its edges and never force the connector. If you would rather not open the lid yourself, any local repairer can fit a panel like this in well under an hour. Warranty, returns and delivery Delivery: shipped Australia-wide with tracking. Returns: if a part arrives faulty or turns out not to be compatible with your machine, contact us first and we will make it right under our returns policy.
