MSI WE62 7RI SERIES parts

MSI pitched the WE62 7RI at its mobile workstation line, a 15.6-inch machine built around a 7th-generation Intel Core processor and NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics, sold from about 2017. It sat below the larger WT models and was aimed at CAD, design and engineering work rather than gaming, even though the chassis shares much of its look with MSI's gaming ranges. Panels on these machines are 1920x1080 units, but lid and hinge assemblies differ between variants, so the exact model code matters. Parts carried for the WE62 7RI family run well beyond screens: batteries, keyboards, palmrests and top covers, hinges, fans and cooling hardware, DC jacks and display cables all feature across the fourteen models listed. Match the part to your exact variant using the model list on this page. Parts can be picked up from the Maidstone workshop in Melbourne, or the machine can be left there for repair.

MSI WE62 7RI SERIES screen

A replacement laptop screen compatible with the MSI WE62 WE62 7RI SERIES, supplied as the bare LCD panel with no touch layer. Laptop makers fit several different panels to the same model, so please treat this as a compatible panel for the MSI WE62 7RI SERIES range and run through the checks below before ordering. Before you order The model number alone is not enough to be sure of a screen. Two minutes comparing this listing with your original panel saves a return: Specifications — compare the resolution, refresh rate, connector (pin count, and which side of the panel the socket sits), mounting style and surface finish with your existing screen. A sharper or faster panel is not a drop-in upgrade; the cable and connector usually differ. Variations — where this listing offers more than one option, choose the variation whose specifications line up with your original, not simply the cheapest. Images — the photos show the connector position and bracket layout of the panel supplied; check them against the back of your screen. Not sure? — send us the part number printed on the rear of your original panel together with your MSI WE62 7RI SERIES and we will confirm compatibility before you buy. Quality and packaging Panels are sourced from established LCD manufacturers, inspected before dispatch and shipped in rigid, foam-lined packaging designed for glass. Where a compatible-grade panel is supplied, it meets or exceeds the specification of the part it replaces; the panel maker can vary with stock. Fitting Screen replacement is one of the most common laptop repairs. With the machine powered off and the battery disconnected, the bezel unclips, the old panel unscrews and the cable swaps across to the new one. Work on a soft, static-free surface, hold the panel by its edges and never force the connector. If you would rather not open the lid yourself, any local repairer can fit a panel like this in well under an hour. Warranty, returns and delivery Delivery: shipped Australia-wide with tracking. Returns: if a part arrives faulty or turns out not to be compatible with your machine, contact us first and we will make it right under our returns policy.
